PERFORMING ARTS PRODUCTION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (SDG)
” Ancient bards told stories: empowered the bond within their community, nurtured hope and inspiration, courage and tradition. Telling myth, legend, heroes and fairy tales did remind us on the natural order of things, the value of life, nature and family. The stories and performing art encouraged people, communities and nations to face challenges and create culture together.”
In our modern times, we are facing a great challenge: to become a global sustainable culture and civilization. Bards and performing artists are needed again, being called, in their role as messengers and creators of culture, capable of inspiring hearts, minds and hands of people, leaders and organizations.
17 GLOBAL SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDG)
The SDG2030, Global Sustainable Development Goals by United Nations (2015) are a challenge all countries of the world, are invited to take together, in communication and collaboration.
Each of the 17 goals offers to performing artists several opportunities for creative inspiration and artistic production.
The Matrix-Q Research Institute (Utrecht, The Netherlands), would like to invite performing artists, bards and story tellers, to join a working group on Performing Arts Production for SDG.
